The story behind the name (not what many think!) and a little bit about the owners & jewelry designer. We're a small woman-owned, family business, descended from Irish and Scottish immigrants in New England. The Celtic Rebel was incorporated in 2005, when we began carrying a line of Christian and Native American style artwork, as well as prayer cards and Advent Calendars. We have recently expanded to include a line of imported crosses, crucifixes, rosaries, gift items, and Celtic and Christian music. Jon, our jewelry designer, began making beaded jewelry in the last couple of years as a hobby, but we quickly found out that he has a gift for designing unique and exquisite one of a kind necklaces and earrings. Swarovski, Czech crystal, hematite, turquoise, and many semi precious beads are used in his designs, and they are elegant. We accommodate special orders and can personalize limited products for weddings, anniversaries, and other occasions. Please contact us for details.
